With all the talk about the Mets firesale before the trading deadline, the logical suspects are Jose Reyes, Carlos Beltran and Frankie Rodriguez. But I'll tell you who the Mets should make a priority to trade. Mike Pelfrey, the man who hits bats like they're magnetic. Before the guy turns 30 and everyone's convinced he's a back end of the rotation starter, the Mets should peddle him to a team that thinks he's got a chance to be a premium starter. The takers are dwindling, but his salary is modest and there are teams that will give up a good prospect for him.
